The nine employees of the tourist office play a key role in promoting and showcasing the region. Their mission is to showcase the region's cultural, natural, and heritage treasures. Each member, whether in reception, communications, or event planning, shares a common passion for their region.

At the Grand Ried Tourist Office, I promote the region through graphic design and the creation of communication materials (guides, brochures, posters, flyers). I maintain contact with our members and update tourist information in the LEI database for the Benfeld area. At the same time, I coordinate the photo library and take charge of the visual aspect of the website, updating photos and ensuring the harmony of the pages. I also manage the shop (orders, tracking, inventory).

As head of the Erstein office and deputy director, I am responsible for finding sponsors and tourism partners, as well as coordinating, monitoring, and developing tourism projects, from their initial conception in collaboration with management, the team, and relevant institutions. I also manage the terms and conditions and agreements related to ticketing, develop boutique products, and provide support for the management of the tourist tax. Like the rest of the team, I welcome visitors to the various offices, participate in off-site events and trade shows, ensuring visitor satisfaction. My responsibilities also include managing schedules and internal organization to ensure the smooth operation of the offices, taking into account the needs of the field and working closely with my colleagues.

Erstein Reception Office

I work as a travel advisor at the Grand Ried tourist office. My main role is to welcome and inform visitors in order to help them organize their stay and discover the riches of the region. I am also in charge of creating the summer activities guide: I work in conjunction with local stakeholders to develop the program and I coordinate with my colleagues the production of the paper document distributed each summer. In tandem with Valérie, I design cycling tours allowing visitors to discover the region in a different way. I also manage the Central Alsace Guest Card, the database for the Erstein sector, and the call for contributions from partners.

I ensure that the regional LEI database, which lists more than 2400 records (accommodation, restaurants, activities, visits, practical information, events, etc.), is kept up to date and harmonized to reflect the richness of our territory. I use the attendance data from our four offices to better understand travelers' expectations and adapt our services. Involved in Customer Relationship Management through Liesel, this free service offers tourists and Alsatians personalized ideas for activities for the next day. Finally, I am responsible for running and updating our website (linked to the LEI database), a true online showcase of our destination, so that everyone can find what they are looking for and calmly prepare for their stay.

As an apprentice at the Grand Ried Tourist Office, I am curious and passionate about communication. I like to create content that catches the eye and makes people want to know more. I manage social networks like Facebook and Instagram, where I share news and highlight the work of our partners. Always looking for new ideas, I analyze the performance of publications to improve visibility and strengthen our online presence. What do I like most about my apprenticeship? Manager of the Rhinau office. I welcome and advise visitors, sharing my knowledge of local history and heritage. I coordinate the organization of flat-bottomed boat trips in collaboration with the boatmen. With my colleague Sylvie, I design bike tours to discover the must-see sites of the Ried. I liaise with our members and update tourist information in the LEI database for the Rhinau sector, as well as monitor membership fees.
