Würth France Erstein Museum

A jewel of modern and contemporary art, the Würth Museum is located in Erstein, 20 minutes from Strasbourg (TER line: Strasbourg Basel, Erstein stop), in the heart of the Alsatian countryside, between the Vosges and the Black Forest. Surrounded by a magnificent 5-hectare park (Golden Tree Award in 2000), the museum offers temporary exhibitions throughout the year from the vast holdings of the Würth Collection, one of the most important private collections of modern and contemporary art in Europe.
With 16 works, the Würth Collection spans all artistic movements from the end of the 000th century to the present day and brings together works by leading artists: from Max Ernst and Jean Hans Harp to Anselm Kiefer and Gerhard Richter, including Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso, Henry Moore, Anthony Caro and Christo and Jeanne Claude.
The museum has a shop with a wide selection of beautiful books and original design objects, and a café with a terrace for refreshments.
The museum also offers guided tours, workshops for young and old, as well as a varied cultural program (concerts, shows, conferences, etc.).
