Cross-border cycle route Rhinau - Kappel - Weisweil
Cross-border cycle route No. 2, 42 kilometers long. Take the time to discover unexpected facets of Alsace. Come take the Rhinau ferry and wander through the "Taubergiessen" Nature Reserve. This colorful jungle is located in Germany, but is owned by the town of Rhinau. Unique in Europe! Intoxicated by these wonderful scents, extend the ride by crossing the bridge at Weisweil to Rhinau Island on the French side. The frequent flooding of the Rhine allows the strictly protected natural environment to offer you fascinating flora and fauna. At the end of the ride, turn off towards Diebolsheim (4 flowers at the Grand Prix National des Villages Fleuris) to discover the magic of traditional architecture, flowered like nowhere else. The Ried will delight your senses.
